Eazy Riders Annual Report 2010

by Don Carcary

I am pleased to present the annual report for the Eazy Riders for 2010.

In a riding season of46 weeks we were able to hold 35 group rides averaging 27 km with one ride of 45km, and the shortest 20 km. Over the year we had 9 regular riders but the average number per ride fell to 6.26due to illness but was also boosted by a few other members who came with us when they chose not to take the regular ride.

The biggest difficulty in planning rides is the limited directions we can ride due to the local geography that requires frequent rides over the same routes so the program included trips away to ride the following cycleways:
Gosford to Woy Woy
The Fernleigh track (Red Head to Adamstown)
Eleebana to Booragul
The Entrance to Tuggerah
Also road rides, Swansea to Belmont South and
Long Jetty to Ourimbah.

We also managed to continue our tradition of visiting different Registered Clubs for lunch about every four weeks.

Unfortunately two of our stronger regular riders suffered extended periods of illness during the year and Ken Martyr still has some recuperating to do before he rides again and we wish him all the best.

We look forward to another active year and hope that all members have a healthy and active 2011.
